Leave request letter to class teacher

School leave letter is written for applying leave in schools. Usually parents of the child writes the letter on behalf of their son or daughter. The letter must contain the number of leave days required and the reason for the leave. The letter is addressed to the class teacher or principal of the school in most cases. Dear Madam,
My daughter Linda is studying in Grade II in your school and I am writing this letter to inform you that my daughter Linda will not be able to attend classes for 3 days from tomorrow as her grandmother has been hospitalized. Since, Linda’s mother must be there at the hospital, there is no one to look after Linda and make her up to the school.
So, I kindly request you to grant her leave for three days from 29th March 2002 to 31st March 2002.
